About The Position

As a Security Officer - Residential Gatehouse Driver in Wellington, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and providing a welcoming presence to residents and visitors. This is a driving post, so you will need a valid driver's license. You will deliver exceptional customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity, contributing to a secure and positive environment.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control access to the residential community, verifying the credentials of residents, visitors, and vendors according to site-specific procedures.
  • Provide customer service by assisting residents and guests with inquiries and directions while maintaining a professional presence at the access control point.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual activities, or policy violations observed during the shift.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the community perimeter and common areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and suspicious activity.
  • Maintain detailed logs of visitor entries, deliveries, and service personnel accessing the location.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as directed during emergencies or incidents.
  • Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific policies and procedures while performing assigned duties.
