As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and support a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and staff. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain security-related protocols.
Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises in accordance with site-specific policies.
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by addressing inquiries and offering assistance as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to company and client requirements.
Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, following site-specific protocols and instructions from Allied Universal management.
