As an Allied Universal Security Professional assigned to a residential location, you will focus on access control responsibilities, monitoring and patrolling the community to help deter security-related incidents. You will remain visible throughout your assigned area, interact with residents and guests, and provide outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate a vehicle as part of your duties while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the residential community, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized individuals.
Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by following established security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
Communicate professionally with residents, visitors, and emergency responders as needed.
Assist with emergency response activities and follow site protocols during incidents.
