Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution facility, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Provide customer service by assisting individuals entering or exiting the location and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related incidents and observe for unusual activity.
  • Follow site-specific policies and procedures established for security-related operations within the logistics and distribution environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, utilizing problem-solving skills to address and report issues according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required for the location.
  • Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, following established procedures for the logistics and distribution setting.
