As an Access Control Officer at a residential location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control measures.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment within the residential location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns.
Assist with emergency response activities as needed, maintaining communication with Allied Universal management and local authorities when appropriate.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
Maintain a professional presence and provide visible support to help to deter potential security-related issues at the residential location.
