As a Security Officer - Residential Entry Control in Calabasas, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol residential areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence for residents and guests. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This position requires driving responsibilities, allowing you to play a key role in maintaining a secure environment while embodying our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering the residential community to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential community and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site procedures.
Work collaboratively with residents, visitors, and property management to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.
Remain alert to surroundings and promptly communicate any suspicious activity or hazards to appropriate parties.
