As a Security Officer - Residential Access Specialist in Laguna Niguel, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort with using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the residential location.
Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of residents, guests, and/or vendors.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the community and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Document and report any irregularities or unusual situations in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
Assist residents and/or visitors with inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
Support emergency response activities as needed, following site-specific guidelines.
