Job Description As a Security Officer - Residential Access Specialist in Davie, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a premier residential location, you will monitor entrances, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with residents and guests, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as needed.
- Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment within the residential community.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any unusual conditions.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client site procedures.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, visitors, and staff regarding access control procedures and site policies.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary, following established protocols.
