Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the residential location.
- Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a welcoming environment for residents and guests.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
- Document all activities, observations, and incidents as required by site protocols.
- Communicate professionally with residents, guests, and property management to address concerns or report issues.
- Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate and directed by Allied Universal management or property representatives.
