Job Description As a Security Officer - Residential Access Desk in Tampa, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer specializing in access control at a residential location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence. You will interact professionally with residents and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Monitor access control points to help to deter unauthorized entry and verify identification of individuals entering the residential property.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the residential location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Communicate professionally with residents, guests, and property management to address questions or concerns related to security-related matters.
• Follow all site-specific instructions and guidelines provided by Allied Universal and the residential property management.
