Job Description As a Security Officer - Residential Access Desk in Duluth, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol residential areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Monitor access points at the residential location to verify credentials and authorize entry for residents, guests, and service personnel according to site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service by assisting residents and visitors with inquiries and directions, while carrying out security-related procedures as outlined by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate authorities or management as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Document all activities, observations, and incidents in detailed reports to maintain accurate records for the site.
• Follow emergency response procedures when appropriate, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific actions as required.
