About The Position

As a Security Officer - Residential Access Control in Longboat Key, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Your responsibilities include monitoring access points, conducting routine patrols, and providing exceptional customer service to residents and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Monitor and manage access control points to help to deter unauthorized entry to the residential location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or unusual circumstances according to Allied Universal protocols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, guests, and property management regarding security-related matters.
Follow all site-specific instructions and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and property management.
