About The Position

As a Security Officer - Resident Access Control in Deerfield Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and maintain order at a residential location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entrances, conducting routine patrols, and remaining highly visible to provide a reassuring presence. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering and/or exiting the residential location.
Provide customer service by assisting residents, guests, and visitors with inquiries and site-specific procedures.
Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific policies and guidelines.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
Document observations and report any irregularities, such as property damage, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency personnel as required during incidents or emergencies.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs of all activities, incidents, and observations during each shift.
