About The Position

As a Security Officer - Resident Access Control in Longboat Key, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming atmosphere at a residential location. Your responsibilities include monitoring entrances, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible throughout the community. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor access points at the residential location to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain site-specific access control procedures.
Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and guests by following security-related procedures and responding to inquiries.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking action according to established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential property and its perimeter to observe for irregularities and report any concerns.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, following all site-specific and Allied Universal guidelines.
