Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor entrance and exit points from a front desk location, verifying identification and/or credentials as necessary to help to deter unauthorized access.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences as observed from the front desk.
Communicate and coordinate with Allied Universal management and/or emergency services as required by site-specific procedures.
Assist with visitor management and access control procedures tailored to the residential environment.
Support a welcoming environment for all residents and guests while maintaining a presence to help to deter disruptive behavior.
