Job Description As a Security Officer - Chemical Plant Patrol Driver in Anacortes, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a chemical and petrochemical location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence throughout the area. You will interact with individuals on site, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate important information. This driving post requires a valid driver's license, offering dynamic opportunities to support a secure environment while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and caring culture. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the chemical or petrochemical location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to Allied Universal guidelines and site requirements.
  • Support access control measures by observing entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and assisting visitors as directed.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and daily activities at the location.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and first responders during emergencies and/or drills as required by site protocols.
