Job Description As a Security Officer - Chemical Site Patrol in Saint Paul Park, MN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a chemical or petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, while you provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Primarily driving post is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards within the chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Monitor and report any suspicious behavior, unsafe conditions, or security-related incidents to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.
  • Assist with access control by checking credentials and verifying authorization for entry to restricted areas as required by site-specific protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, observations, and incidents as required by site procedures.
  • Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations by following established protocols and providing clear communication as needed.
