Job Description As a Security Officer - Chemical Site Patrol in Saint Paul Park, MN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a chemical or petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, while you provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Primarily driving post is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards within the chemical and petrochemical location.
Monitor and report any suspicious behavior, unsafe conditions, or security-related incidents to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.
Assist with access control by checking credentials and verifying authorization for entry to restricted areas as required by site-specific protocols.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, observations, and incidents as required by site procedures.
Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations by following established protocols and providing clear communication as needed.
