As a Security Officer - Bank Front Desk in Carmel, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees. Your role involves monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and providing exceptional customer service while maintaining a welcoming and secure environment. You will help to deter security-related incidents through your presence and communication, all while upholding Allied Universal’s values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a financial institution location.
  • Monitor access to the building, verifying identification and credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors in accordance with site protocols.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response activities as needed.
  • Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or disruptive behavior.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual activity, or violations of site policies to Allied Universal management and/or site representatives as required.
  • Assist with visitor management processes, including logging guests and issuing visitor badges according to site guidelines.
  • Communicate professionally with all persons entering the location, providing directions and general assistance as needed.
