Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, screening and directing visitors, managing front desk activity, and supporting security-related protocols for a healthcare location.
  • Monitor lobby and entrance activity, verify visitor and employee access, issue visitor credentials, and help to deter unauthorized entry through attentive presence and follow-through.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Answer questions, assist with check-in processes, maintain accurate front desk logs and reports, and communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
