About The Position
As a Security Officer Reception Services Representative in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Front Desk Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will be the first point of contact, helping to manage access, greet visitors, monitor activity, and support security-related procedures with professionalism and care. Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by greeting visitors, drivers, and staff at the front desk, following site-specific policies, and supporting security-related access procedures for the location.
- Monitor lobby and entrance activity, verify identification and/or visitor information, issue access credentials as directed, and maintain accurate front desk logs and records.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Answer phones, assist with directions and general inquiries, and help to deter unauthorized access by observing front desk activity and reporting concerns according to post procedures.
