As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal, you will be the welcoming first point of contact at a professional location, supporting a positive guest experience while handling access control, visitor check in, badging, and phone and/or lobby communications. You will monitor activity from the desk, document security-related incidents, and coordinate with site teams as needed. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Operate as the primary front desk point of contact by greeting and directing visitors, verifying access as required, and issuing visitor credentials per site-specific policy.
  • Monitor front desk activity and nearby entry areas, report unusual activity, and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Complete required documentation such as access logs, visitor records, and incident reports with accurate details and timely updates.
  • Communicate clearly with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency services when needed, following established escalation protocols.
