Job Description As a Security Officer Reception Lobby in Irvine, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, where you will greet visitors, manage access activity, monitor the lobby, and support daily security-related operations with professionalism and care. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a front desk post in a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor front desk activity, greet and direct visitors, confirm access permissions, and document arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Answer phones, manage visitor check-in processes, issue and collect visitor credentials, and support access control functions for employees, contractors, and/or guests.
  • Observe lobby and entry areas for suspicious, unauthorized, and/or disruptive activity and report concerns that could help to deter security-related issues at the location.
