Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at a front desk location within a financial institution.
  • Control access by greeting entrants, confirming identity and/or authorization, issuing temporary badges as directed, and directing visitors to the appropriate destination.
  • Monitor security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, phones, and intercoms, and report unusual activity according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate contacts and assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate logs and documentation of visitor activity, deliveries, incidents, and shift events, and communicate updates during shift changes.
