Job Description As a Security Officer - Reception Desk in Port Wentworth, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a busy retail location, you will greet visitors, manage access procedures, monitor cameras and alarms, document incidents, and communicate with store teams to help reduce security-related issues. You will be a visible, customer-focused presence who supports a welcoming environment while acting with integrity. Requirements

  • Have at least 6+ months of security-related experience.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, associates, and vendors at the front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Greet and screen visitors, issue and track visitor credentials, and help manage access for deliveries, contractors, and scheduled appointments.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and communication channels from the front desk and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns to the appropriate contacts.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Complete detailed shift logs and incident reports, support lost and found processes, and coordinate with location management and/or law enforcement as needed.
