As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact while supporting security-related operations. You will manage lobby access, verify credentials, monitor cameras and alarms, document incidents, and communicate clearly with tenants, visitors, and property staff. Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 6+ months of security experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control access to the property by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and check-out, issuing temporary badges, and directing guests and vendors to approved destinations.
  • Monitor lobby activity and building entry points through observation and available systems, documenting unusual activity to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying building management and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
  • Complete shift logs and required reports, communicate key updates during post transitions, and support tenant and property management requests within established guidelines.
