As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact while supporting a professional lobby presence. You will monitor access, greet and assist visitors, verify credentials, manage visitor logs, and communicate clearly with staff during routine activity and security-related concerns. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Staff the front desk by greeting employees and visitors, verifying identification and/or appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and directing individuals to appropriate areas per site policy.
  • Monitor access control points, lobby activity, and security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and intercoms, reporting irregular activity according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, notifying appropriate contacts, and coordinating with management and/or first responders as directed.
  • Complete security-related reports and logs, track keys and credentials, and communicate shift updates to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership.
