Job Description As a Security Officer - Reception Check-In Desk in Bellevue, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at a city center plaza location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badging, monitor activity through computer and/or tablet systems, and respond to security-related concerns with calm, clear communication. You will support a professional lobby presence while delivering customer service and collaborating with your team. Requirements

  • Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Having customer service experience is preferred.
  • Having access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Staff the front desk to greet and direct visitors, manage sign-in and badge processes, and help to control access according to site guidelines.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems from the front desk and report irregular activity per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site representatives and/or emergency services as directed.
  • Complete required reports, logs, and other documentation, and communicate relevant updates during shift handoff.
