As a Front Desk Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will welcome employees and visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor cameras and alarms, and document security-related activity with clear, professional reporting. You will communicate with site teams to help resolve issues quickly, support incident response, and deliver a customer-first experience. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific security-related procedures, visitor management requirements, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Control access to the location by greeting and screening visitors, confirming appointments, issuing credentials, and directing contractors and deliveries according to site policy.
  • Monitor alarms, CCTV, radios, phones, and/or access control systems; document activity and communicate issues to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, coordinating with on-site teams, and requesting public emergency services when needed.
  • Complete detailed reports and logs for shift activity, incidents, and access events; maintain confidentiality and support compliance expectations common to chemical and petrochemical locations.
