Job Description As a Security Officer - Real Estate Patrol Full-Time in Washington, DC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the well-being of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and site representatives.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disturbances and provide reassurance to tenants, visitors, and staff.
• Assist with access control procedures, including verifying identification and monitoring entry points as required by site policies.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as directed by site protocols.
