As an Allied Universal Security Officer assigned to access control at a prominent commercial real estate location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to tenants and visitors. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.05 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Fri 02:45 PM - 08:00 PM Sat 04:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and/or tenants with questions and directions while following site-specific policies and procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site procedures.
Collaborate with property management and/or building staff to address security-related needs and support emergency response activities.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions within the commercial real estate environment.
