About The Position

As a Security Officer - Radio Dispatch in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch Officer supporting a financial services location, where you will coordinate responses to security-related calls, monitor alarms and cameras, and communicate updates to on-site officers and leadership. You will help maintain smooth operations by tracking incidents, documenting activity, and routing assistance when needed. Requirements

  • Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
  • Have 1 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Having a guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Having customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Monitor alarm systems, phones, radios, and/or video surveillance, prioritize incoming calls for service, and dispatch officers and/or resources as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, gathering key details, notifying appropriate internal contacts and/or public services, and coordinating response actions.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs and incident documentation, including time-stamped activity notes, notifications made, and follow-up actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter and/or coordinate patrol coverage, noting unusual activity and reporting concerns per site procedures.
