As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet staff and visitors with strong customer service, communicate clearly, and document observations using a computer and/or tablet. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Having a guard card and/or security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors and staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the interior, exterior, parking areas and perimeter, noting unusual conditions and reporting concerns.
• Monitor access points and public areas, helping to discourage unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity through presence and professional communication.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or local emergency services as needed.
• Complete security-related reports such as patrol logs, incident reports and shift activity summaries, and communicate key information during shift turnover.
