You will conduct routine foot patrols, maintain a highly visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist guests and store teams with clear communication and a customer-first approach. You will document observations, respond to concerns, and collaborate with on-site partners, bringing integrity, teamwork, and an agile, reliable mindset to every shift.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a retail and mall location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with on-site management and/or local responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout common areas, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter spaces to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor entrances, storefront areas, and high-traffic zones for suspicious behavior, crowd issues, and/or disputes, and document observations according to site requirements.
- Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and shift handoffs, and communicate key information to Allied Universal supervision and/or site contacts.
