As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading technology location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, monitor access points, and support badge and visitor entry while documenting security-related activity using computer and/or tablet tools. Your visible presence helps reduce incidents, and your clear communication delivers a strong customer experience for staff and guests. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech-focused location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and security-related systems as assigned, verify identification and/or authorization, and report irregular conditions per post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting evacuations, medical response, and/or coordination with on-site personnel and public responders as needed.
- Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs with clear, timely documentation of security-related activities, observations, and actions taken.
