As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a busy industrial location, conducting routine rounds and staying visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will observe, document, and communicate concerns, support access control and visitor interactions, and deliver customer service with clear, professional communication. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify identification and/or visitor authorization as directed, and help maintain orderly entry and exit for employees, contractors, and deliveries.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and assisting with on-site response as directed by post orders.
- Complete security-related reports such as incident logs, patrol activity reports, and shift pass-downs; communicate observations to supervision and site contacts.
