As an unarmed, driving Security Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and report concerns with clear, professional communication while delivering customer service to employees and visitors. Requirements

• Possess a valid commercial driver’s license.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or irregular conditions.
• Control access at entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, directing traffic flow, and documenting arrivals and departures per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate parties and completing timely reports.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems when assigned, and communicate observations to site management and/or local responders as directed.
