Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and/or petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support site teams with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Bring an agile, reliable mindset, work as one team, and act with integrity while responding to alarms and documenting activity.

Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 2+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for an industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and escalating concerns through the chain of command.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, administrative spaces, and the perimeter, checking gates, doors, and critical areas for irregularities.
  • Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, managing visitor sign-in processes, and directing deliveries and contractors according to site requirements.
  • Complete written and/or electronic reports such as daily activity logs and incident reports, and communicate shift turnovers and noteworthy events to oncoming personnel and site contacts.
