As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, support access control, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering customer service that reflects our agile, reliable, and innovative approach. You will succeed through teamwork and always act with integrity in a people-first culture.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, tenants, and/or visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of office areas, labs, common spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Control access points by monitoring doors, gates, and badge-controlled entries, and verifying visitor identity and/or authorization in accordance with site requirements.
• Complete accurate reports and logs of patrol findings, unusual activity, and incident response actions, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
