As an unarmed patrol officer at a leading tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with helpful customer service and clear communication. You will document observations, report concerns, and partner with site teams to deliver through teamwork, integrity, and Allied Universal values of being agile, reliable, innovative, and people first.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to the client and site personnel by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of offices, common areas, loading and delivery zones, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points by verifying credentials, directing visitors and contractors per site requirements, and documenting entries and exits according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and service calls in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to appropriate contacts and/or public services as needed.
  • Complete detailed reports for patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
