Job Description As a Security Officer – Chemical Dispatch in Monaca, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and coordinate communications to support access control and security-related operations. Your role involves remaining visible, conducting routine patrols, and providing outstanding customer service to all personnel on site. Requirements

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate communication and surveillance systems to dispatch security-related personnel and resources as needed within the chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond promptly and calmly to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations by coordinating appropriate security-related responses according to site-specific protocols.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of all dispatch activities, incidents, and communications for accountability and reporting purposes.
• Provide customer service by assisting site personnel, visitors, and contractors with inquiries related to security-related procedures and site access.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with Allied Universal personnel, client representatives, and emergency responders to relay critical information.
• Support routine and random patrol activities by coordinating with field personnel and monitoring their status.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities by maintaining a visible and responsive presence through dispatch operations.
• Stay informed of site-specific policies and procedures relevant to the chemical and petrochemical environment and apply them appropriately during all dispatch duties.
