As an unarmed patrol professional at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and proactive approach. This role requires driving as part of your daily responsibilities. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or security-related incidents as encountered during patrols.
Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or government personnel as required.
Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
Assist in controlling access to restricted areas and help to deter unauthorized entry.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities.
