As a Front Desk Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will welcome employees and visitors, verify credentials, manage badges and access logs, and route calls with clear, professional communication. You will help monitor entry activity, document security-related concerns, and support incident response in partnership with site leadership. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors at the front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Manage access control duties including greeting and directing visitors, issuing temporary credentials when authorized, and maintaining visitor logs and/or sign-in documentation.
  • Monitor cameras, alarm panels, and other access control systems from a stationary post, reporting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including calling for assistance, coordinating notifications, and documenting actions taken.
  • Complete detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and facility notifications, and communicate key information during shift transitions.
