Job Description As a Security Officer - Plant Patrol in Shreveport, LA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a chemical or petrochemical location. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following protocols established for chemical and petrochemical locations.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.
Monitor access points and observe for unusual or suspicious activity within the location, reporting findings to the appropriate contacts.
Document observations and incidents clearly and accurately as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
Remain alert to conditions that could impact security-related operations in a chemical or petrochemical environment, taking appropriate action as directed.
