As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned chemical and petrochemical locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a chemical or petrochemical location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazards.
Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related breaches, or hazardous conditions encountered during patrols.
Communicate with site personnel and/or visitors to provide assistance and relay information as needed.
Document incidents, observations, and/or activities according to Allied Universal and site requirements.
Collaborate with local emergency services and site management when necessary during critical situations.
