Security Officer - Plant Patrol Driver
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Plant Patrol Driver in Kansas City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises by vehicle while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Observe and report any security-related incidents or hazards encountered during patrols.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and employees at the location.
- Document all activities, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal policies and site-specific procedures.
