As an Allied Universal Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, check credentials, support visitor and contractor processing, and use computer or tablet systems to track activity. You will conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, while delivering customer-focused communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures and access control policies at an industrial manufacturing location.
Control entry and exit points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor and delivery logs, and directing traffic to appropriate checkpoints or staging areas.
Monitor alarms, CCTV, and access control systems; respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify site leadership and/or emergency responders as required.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking lots, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Support shipping and receiving operations by checking inbound and outbound trucks, validating paperwork as required by post orders, and reporting irregularities through established reporting channels.
