About The Position

As a Security Officer - Plant Entry Driver in Elizabethtown, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including access control measures for personnel, vehicles, and visitors at the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity within the automotive facility.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe and report any irregularities or security-related concerns.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, including coordinating with local authorities if needed.
Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or contractors while maintaining a visible presence at access control points.
