Job Description As a Security Officer - Auto Plant Entry in Elizabethtown, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Professional assigned to an automotive production location, you will focus on access control responsibilities, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment through routine patrols. You will remain visible, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with visitors and team members. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site-specific policies.
  • Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with inquiries related to access procedures and site protocols.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify any unusual activity.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and any breaches of access control protocols to the appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to maintain an orderly environment within the automotive manufacturing setting.
  • Follow all security-related procedures and protocols specific to the automotive industry location.
