Job Description As a Security Officer - Plant Access Monitor in Pompano Beach, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor entrances, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Being at least 21 years of age is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and vendors with access-related inquiries and directions.
Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific policies and protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the business interior and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or security-related violations observed during patrols or while monitoring access points.
Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support the overall security program at the food and beverage location.
