Job Description As a Security Officer - Plant Access Control in Cincinnati, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and interact with employees and visitors to foster a welcoming environment. Requirements

A valid guard card or security license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Control access to the location by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Provide customer service by assisting employees and visitors with inquiries related to access control and site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Document and report any access control violations, unusual activities, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
